Description

Job Summary:

  • The Accounting Associate responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g. SAP) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. Other task are, but not limited to:
  1. Reconciling daily  deposits
  2. Key AR checks
  3. Back up AP/AR manager
  4. Customer support on refunds from returned products
  5. Support Inventory costing
  6. Support payroll processes
  7. Support monthly closing procedures
  8. Perform periodic inventory counts

 

Requirements:

 

  • Filling of the current position will be based upon qualifications, which include (but are not limited to): quality and quantity of work, willingness to work where and as needed, ability to cooperate and communicate with fellow employees, management, and customer service representatives.

 

Specific Qualifications Include:

  1. Bachelors degree with major in accounting or finance preferred
  2. Prior Bookkeeping experience a plus
  3. Proficient in Excel and Word
  4. Professional Phone Skills / Typing Skills
  5. High Aptitude / Ability to Learn Quickly
  6. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
  7. Exhibit diplomacy with management, and peers
  8. Ability to work extended hours as needed
